Martinez of the Boston Red Sox is being accused of racism because he supports the 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms. Why? Because he made a social media post 5 years ago linking gun control to fascist dictatorships like that of Nazi Germany. Liberals can use Hitler comparisons to attack the Trump administration all they want, but if someone on the conservative side of things points out the truth that the Nazis disarmed people. Via NY Daily News A Cloudy Picture In Connecticut It may come as a surprise, but the Connecticut gubernatorial race is shaping up to be one of the most competitive in the country this fall. The first two public polls of the general election were released on Thursday. Even though, Ct is a traditionally Blue state, the low approval numbers for two-term Gov. Dannel Malloy (D-CT) give Republicans a fair shot in the upcoming race and a chance at gaining control of the Top Job in the capital. The polls do show very different pictures of the race. One item the polls agreed on: Malloy is tremendously unpopular. Sacred Heart puts Malloy’s approval at 15.9 percent. More than half of Democrats (51.8 percent) disapprove of Malloy’s handling of his job as governor. Quinnipiac, meanwhile, puts Malloy’s approval at 25 percent, with more Democrats disapproving (48 percent) than approving (41 percent) of Malloy’s performance. The poll from Sacred Heart University, shows the race within the margin of error: Lamont leads Stefanowski by 3.9 points, 40.8 percent to 36.9 percent. Data indicated a tight race for the governorship is ahead in the coming months as, currently, 40.8% of Connecticut voters currently support Ned Lamont (D) for governor compared to 36.9% who support Bob Stefanowski (R). • Unaffiliated voters are currently divided as 29.8% support Ned Lamont (D) and 29.8% support Bob Stefanowski (R). In addition, another 27.3% of unaffiliated voters were undecided at the time of the poll. • A major gender gap exists as 49.3% of female voters support Ned Lamont (D) compared to 30.1% of female voters who support Bob Stefanowski (R). However, 43.9% of male voters support Bob Stefanowski (R) compared to 31.4% of male voters who support Ned Lamont (D). ❖ 29.8% of Connecticut voters have a “favorable” view of Ned Lamont (D), while 30.3% have a “favorable” view of Bob Stefanowski (R). However, the race will remain fluid as voters get to know more about the candidates. Currently, 44.4% of Connecticut voters “have not heard enough about” Bob Stefanowski (R) to form an opinion, and 41.6% report the same about Ned Lamont (D). The other poll from Qunnipiac University, has Lamont up big, 46 percent to 33 percent. In the Connecticut governor's race, Democrat Ned Lamont leads Republican Bob Stefanowski 46 - 33 percent, with 4 percent for independent candidate Oz Griebel and 1 percent for the Libertarian Party's Rod Hanscomb, according to a Quinnipiac University Poll released today. In a head-to-head matchup, Lamont tops Stefanowski 53 - 37 percent, the independent Quinnipiac University Poll finds. In the four-way race, Lamont leads Stefanowski 50 - 27 percent among women. Men are divided with 40 percent for Lamont and 39 percent for Stefanowski. Democrats go to Lamont over Stefanowski 81 - 3 percent. Stefanowski leads Lamont 83 - 8 percent among Republicans and 37 - 30 percent among independent voters. Connecticut voters give Lamont a 44 - 28 percent favorability rating. Stefanowski gets a divided 33 - 31 percent favorability rating, with 35 percent who haven't heard enough about him to form an opinion. Imagine a drug that could enhance a child’s creativity, critical thinking and resilience. Imagine that this drug were simple to make, safe to take, and could be had for free. The nation’s leading pediatricians say this miracle compound exists. In a new clinical report, they are urging doctors to prescribe it liberally to the children in their care. What is this wonder drug? Mom investigated for letting 8-year-old walk dog around the block. 'For something like this to happen to me, there’s something really wrong.' Just after returning home from a walk around the block with her dog, Marshmallow, an 8-year-old girl expected a visit from a playmate. Instead, police officers arrived at the family’s door. An anonymous caller had contacted police after seeing the girl walking the dog alone, said her mother, Corey Widen. While police never pursued charges, the seemingly common activity launched an Illinois Department of Children and Family Services investigation to see if Widen was neglecting her children, she said. The procedure, detailed in a new paper in Nature Scientific Reports, has significant implications for the study and treatment of such injuries. Source: Athens Banner-Herald Nineteen Foreign Nationals Charged for Voting in 2016 Election
WILMINGTON, NC – Robert J. Higdon, Jr., United States Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina today announced that nineteen foreign nationals were charged with, among other crimes, voting by alien for their actions prior to and on November 8, 2016. A twentieth defendant was charged with aiding and abetting a fellow defendant in falsely claiming United States citizenship in order to register to vote. Multiple defendants also voted in more than one election. A federal grand jury in Wilmington, North Carolina returned an Indictment charging the following foreign nationals with false claim of United States citizenship in order to register to vote, and voting by an alien: Comey Lied When then-FBI Director James Comey announced he was closing the Hillary Clinton email investigation for a second time just days before the 2016 election, he certified to Congress that his agency had “reviewed all of the communications” discovered on a personal laptop used by Clinton’s closest aide, Huma Abedin, and her husband, Anthony Weiner. At the time, many wondered how investigators managed over the course of one week to read the “hundreds of thousands” of emails residing on the machine, which had been a focus of a sex-crimes investigation of Weiner, a former Congressman. Comey later told Congress that “thanks to the wizardry of our technology,” the FBI was able to eliminate the vast majority of messages as “duplicates” of emails they’d previously seen. Tireless agents, he claimed, then worked “night after night after night” to scrutinize the remaining material. But virtually none of his account was true, a growing body of evidence reveals. In fact, a technical glitch prevented FBI technicians from accurately comparing the new emails with the old emails. Only 3,077 of the 694,000 emails were directly reviewed for classified or incriminating information. Three FBI officials completed that work in a single 12-hour spurt the day before Comey again cleared Clinton of criminal charges. “Most of the emails were never examined, even though they made up potentially 10 times the evidence” of what was reviewed in the original year-long case that Comey closed in July 2016, said a law enforcement official with direct knowledge of the investigation. CBS Chicago reports: Mollie Tibbetts, Has Been Separated From Her Family Forever. This week, an illegal alien was arrested for murdering Iowa college student Mollie Tibbetts. Elizabeth Warren seized upon this tragedy to defend illegal aliens and attack President Trump’s immigration policies. There is literally nothing that she won’t exploit to push that crazy leftist agenda. Bet He Wishes For A Do-Over New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, a hopeful for the Democratic Party’s 2020 presidential nomination, said recently, “We’re not going to make America great again. That’s an increase of 890,000 since last year, according to the gun advocacy research group, which has found that the growth in permits has been continuous over the years. “We have seen an increase from 4.6 million permits in 2007 to 17.25 million now, with the number increasing every year,” the center’s founder John Lott told Fox News. “It seems very likely that we will continue seeing an increase next year. The most notable demographic increase was found to be among women and minorities. During the aforementioned time period, CCW issuance jumped 111 percent faster for women than for men. Permits for Asian and black individuals spiked 29 percent and 20 percent quicker, respectively. “A poll by [the] Pew [Research Center] helps to explain why there has been such a large increase in concealed handgun permits among blacks and women. The poll shows a 25 percentage point increase in the proportion of blacks with a favorable view of gun ownership. This is the largest increase of any group.” Fox News Facebook has reportedly been ranking users on their “trustworthiness” by giving them a score between zero and one, according to a report in The Washington Post. If you have a different opinion on that 1 thing, you are a Nazi loving, bigoted, race-hating pig that must be destroyed at all costs. At recent violent uprising in Portland, some Antifa thugs beat the crap out of a Bernie Sanders supporter, showing that literally anyone can be a Nazi. The Antifa thugs who attacked this guy demanded that he hand over his American flag, saying it was a “symbol of fascism.” They then attacked him with clubs and took his flag, which to me seems like the ultimate expression of fascism. I guess they have now gone full bore loony when they start to attack people who believe in most of the same leftist crap they do. From OregonLive ICE at Work The last known Nazi collaborator living in the United States — a 95-year-old former camp guard who played an “indispensable role” in the murders of thousands of Jews — was deported to Germany from his New York City home early Tuesday morning, completing what the U.S. ambassador to Germany called a “difficult task.” Richard Grenell, the U.S. ambassador who arrived in Germany earlier this year after political maneuvering by Democrats held up his nomination for months, told “FOX & friends” in an exclusive interview that President Trump — who is from New York — instructed him to make the removal of Jakiw Palij a priority. Grenell said the new German government, which took office in March, brought “new energy” to the matter. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents on Tuesday implemented a deportation order against Palij that dated to 2004. Fox News reports: Democrats are losing the Black vote.
