With National Hot Dog Month starting tomorrow, we will once again post the   chart created by Food Republic on how to make 40 different styles of hotdogs from around the world.

I'm sure that most readers of this blog are aware; hot dogs are one of nature's most powerful super foods. They have been known to increase strength, intelligence, heartburn, virility and flatulence. There are also very few hot dog joints that I can say; I wouldn't go to when I'm hungry. It’s the power of a good Coney or Michigan dog.

2016 Fourth of July Fireworks and Event Schedule by State
For a fun all-American party in the bloom of summer, nothing can compete with the Fourth of July in New England. From huge too little, mountains to coasts, there is a July 4th entertainment that will bring just the right sparkle to your summer. Examples of "big" are Boston Harborfest and the Boston Pops fireworks over the Charles River.
In contrast, find your way to the Rhode Island town of Chepatchet for a DIY "horribles" parade. In between, we have parades and fireworks in many, many towns, barbecues and picnics, free live music, historic re-creations of Independence Day. The Folks at Visit New England have one of the best event listings that I know of, so here is the place to find some Fun.

The Most and Least Expensive Cars to Maintain
The most expensive thing most Americans own, after their house, is their car. On average, Americans spend 5% of their income on purchasing a car. Another 5% goes towards on-going maintenance and insurance costs.    More

Why America’s men aren’t working
The problem is particularly pronounced among men between the ages of 25 and 54, traditionally considered the prime working years. Their participation rate has been declining for decades, but the drop-off accelerated during the recession. The high mark was 98 percent in 1954, and it now stands at 88 percent. A new analysis from the White House’s Council of Economic Advisers, slated for release Monday, found that the United States now has the third-lowest participation rate for “prime-age men” among the world’s developed countries.

In other words, Greece, Slovenia and Turkey have a larger share of men in their workforces than the United States does. The United States beats only Italy and Israel.   More

Fun at the State Fair
The fair, it’s that time of the year when you get out and run into old friends.  To see all those farming displays from the 4H, and maybe the little chicks hatching from its egg. Cotton candy, fried dough, ride the amusement park rides, or go on a rampage. A large fight at the 30th annual NJ State Fair in the Meadowlands was caught on camera this weekend. More

Murder suspect tries to Snatch Cop’s Gun inside Interview Room
A man arrested on a murder charge Tuesday tried to grab a Cincinnati police officer’s gun from its holster while being processed at the Criminal Investigation Section. By the look of this video, there’s probably a 0% chance that an innocent man would try to grab the cops gun and attempt a breakout from the police station. In the land of the free, I would predict this dirt bags membership card has expired.

Indonesia has Introduced Castration and the Death Penalty for Child Rapists
The President of Indonesia has recently placed new, more dramatic sanctions on child rapists. The maximum sentence for rape was fourteen years in prison. Now that punishment has been multiplied, offending criminals can be put to death or chemically castrated. The Indonesian president introduced this by way of presidential decree. This means it is effective immediately, although it can still be overturned byparliament later.
