2016 Fourth of July Fireworks and Event Schedule by State
For a fun all-American party in the bloom of summer, nothing can compete with the Fourth of July in New England. From huge too little, mountains to coasts, there is a July 4th entertainment that will bring just the right sparkle to your summer. Examples of "big" are Boston Harborfest and the Boston Pops fireworks over the Charles River.
In contrast, find your way to the Rhode Island town of Chepatchet for a DIY "horribles" parade. In between, we have parades and fireworks in many, many towns, barbecues and picnics, free live music, historic re-creations of Independence Day. The Folks at Visit New England have one of the best event listings that I know of, so here is the place to find some Fun.
Jacobs Pillow Dance Inside/Out Performances Wednesday-Saturday Stockbridge Ma
The free performances happen every week from Wednesday through Saturday during the Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival. The shows are performed outside, with a beautiful backdrop of the Berkshire Hills in the summer. When the weather is threatening the performance will move to an indoor studio with very limited seating. Call the Box Office after 5pm the day of the performance to find out if it will be outdoors or indoors.
