Massachusetts Hunters harvested record-setting whitetail numbers during the 2018 season
Although 2017 set a new record for the most deer killed in Massachusetts, that number was eclipsed in 2018, a season that now claims the new title. The Division of Fisheries and Wildlife recently announced that a total of 14,513 deer were killed during the 2018 season, breaking the record high from the previous year of 13,220. More

New Poll Finds Huge Shift In Pro-Life Direction
A new poll that was released this week from Axios shows that Americans are now as likely to identify as pro-life (47 percent) as they are pro-choice (47 percent). This stands in contrast to a Marist poll that was taken in mid January that reported, Americans were much more likely to call themselves “pro-choice” than “pro-life” (55 to 38 percent). I wonder if the new late term abortion laws of New York and Virginia have anything to do with the public conscience.

Transgender Athletes Take Top Two Places
The top two finishers in the female 55-meter dash at the Connecticut indoor track and field championships are both transgender athletes — that is, boys competing as girls.
High school juniors Terry Miller and Andraya Yearwood took first and second place in the state open indoor track championships Feb. 16, The Associated Press noted in a report Sunday. Both Miller and Yearwood are biological males who identify as transgender girls.

A man was shot during a home invasion in Coshocton County OH Sunday.
According to Sheriff Tim Rogers, deputies were dispatched in response to a residential burglary.
The suspects had fled the scene prior to deputies arriving. The homeowner reported several items being stolen from his residence.
At approximately 2:07pm the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a possible shooting at this same location.
it appears the armed homeowner confronted two adult male suspects who came back for more at his residence. As a result of this confrontation, one male suspect was shot. He was transported from the scene to the Hospital with a single gunshot wound. Coshocton Tribune

Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, has been charged with two counts of solicitation of prostitution in Jupiter, Florida. Jupiter Police Chief Daniel Kerr confirmed that the 77-year-old NFL owner will be charged with “soliciting another to commit prostitution” related to a sting at a Florida spa. Kerr added that Kraft was reportedly captured involved in sex acts at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa via video evidence. He had been in Florida for a fundraiser for the Dana-Farber Institute. Covington student Nicholas Sandmann sues WASH POST for $250 MILLION
Attorneys representing the Kentucky high school student involved in a confrontation that went viral on social media last month announced Tuesday that they were suing The Washington Post for $250 million in compensatory and punitive damages.

TEMPE, AZ — One mother said her quick thinking and nearby pistol helped protect herself and her kids during a home invasion. The situation ended with an injured police K-9, two hurt Tempe police officers and a mother who forced the suspect out of her apartment at gunpoint.
“It was either me or him, and I had two kids. There was no way I was going to let them get hurt,” the mother said. From ABC 15

Pittsburgh police are investigating an alleged home invasion in the Knoxville neighborhood in which two people were shot Friday night. Soon after arriving at the 300 block of Moore Avenue about 7 p.m., police found “multiple shell casings and a male resident with a gunshot wound to the hand,” spokesman Chris Togneri said. He said that man was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

During the investigation, police discovered that a resident shot at the alleged home invader. That man was hit by gunfire multiple times. The wounded suspect fled on foot to a residence on the 200 block of Moore Avenue. An ambulance transported that man to a hospital in critical condition, Togneri said.
