It's a good thing the Sox were on the road today. It was a cruel morning in Ct today. This was from my windshield at 9:30am.  And it's not April Fools Day.

Heroes

Boston is in mourning and a deep sadness hangs over the city today.   Two firefighters lost their lives responding to a nine-alarm fire at a brick brownstone in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood Wednesday. In addition to those killed, 13 other firefighters were injured.

Yesterdays Nor’easter produced a very intense day of weather and wind and it created an intense fire. Yet these two heroes and their brothers ran into a burning building in an attempt to try to save the residents as they tried to flee for their Life. They gave their lives in the line of duty.

Say a prayer tonight for the firefighters and their families because there are far to few people in life that put the public safety ahead of their own,  And these men did.

A few months ago, Gerdi McKenna was diagnosed with breast cancer. And of course, Gerdi's friends wanted to show their support.   more

And then I read a story today that tells how the school system in Grand Junction Colorado treated a student that wanted to support her friend in the same manor.
