Go Topless Day!
On Sunday Aug. 26, people in cities around the world are invited to stand up for women's right to go
topless in public.

Ed King, the legendary guitarist who played both electric guitar and bass guitar for Lynyrd Skynyrd and Strawberry Alarm Clock, passed away on Wednesday at the age of 68.
King, a Nashville resident, is responsible for co-writing “Sweet Home Alabama” and his voice can be heard counting down in the beginning of the song. He also co-wrote hits such as “Saturday Night Special,” “Poison Whiskey,” “Mr. Banker,” “Swamp Music,” and many others.

That's Not Dancing in The Streets
Mob Violence Shuts Down Chicago’s Fanciest Shopping and Tourist District Again.

Mob rule took to the streets in Chicago’s most famous neighborhood last week.   shoppers, tourists, and ordinary working people can no longer take for granted the freedom to walk around Chicago’s upscale shopping district along North Michigan Avenue near the famous Water Tower.  Four times this year, mobs of “urban youths” have taken to “wilding” and attacking random pedestrians while looting stores.  CBS Chicago reports:

Mollie Tibbetts,  Has Been Separated From Her Family Forever.
This week, an illegal alien was arrested for murdering Iowa college student Mollie Tibbetts. Elizabeth Warren seized upon this tragedy to defend illegal aliens and attack President Trump’s immigration policies. To some, it may seem like a really poor choice of words, but it’s really just more evidence that Elizabeth Warren is totally clueless. There is literally nothing that she won’t exploit to push that crazy leftist agenda.

Bet He Wishes For A Do-Over
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, a hopeful for the Democratic Party’s 2020 presidential nomination, said recently, “We’re not going to make America great again. It was never that great.” One-in-five Democrats agree, but a sizable majority of all voters thinks he was off-base.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 67% of Likely U.S. Voters disagree with Cuomo’s statement. Seventeen percent (17%) agree, while just as many (16%) are undecided. MORE

Concealed Carry
The number of permits to carry concealed weapons in the U.S. has jumped to more than 17.25 million this year, according to the
Crime Prevention Research Center.
That’s an increase of 890,000 since last year, according to the gun advocacy research group, which has found that the growth in permits has been continuous over the years.
“We have seen an increase from 4.6 million permits in 2007 to 17.25 million now, with the number increasing every year,” the center’s founder John Lott told Fox News. “It seems very likely that we will continue seeing an increase next year.
The most notable demographic increase was found to be among women and minorities. During the aforementioned time period, CCW issuance jumped 111 percent faster for women than for men. Permits for Asian and black individuals spiked 29 percent and 20 percent quicker, respectively.
“A poll by [the] Pew [Research Center] helps to explain why there has been such a large increase in concealed handgun permits among blacks and women. The poll shows a 25 percentage point increase in the proportion of blacks with a favorable view of gun ownership. This is the largest increase of any group.” Fox News

Facebook has reportedly been ranking users on their “trustworthiness” by giving them a score between zero and one, according to a report in The Washington Post.
A Facebook product manager, Tessa Lyons, explained to The Post that Facebook’s new reputation ranking is to help crack down on people who report news stories as being fake because they disagree with them politically.
