This year, starting in the far outside position at number 20 is Wicked Strong. The colt is among the favorites for Saturday’s race at 8-1 and is currently one of the top four on the leader board. Wicked Strong will likely settle into the pack after the starting bell and then hopefully put on a show. It takes him a while to really get going, but when he does he's very fast. Last month, the colt pulled a 9-1 upset win in the $1 million Wood Memorial for 3-year-olds with some incredible closing speed.
Don Little Jr, a native of Boston, heads the Boston based partnership that owns Wicked Strong. He named the horse in honor of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. The group will also donate 5 percent of any money won by the colt during the race for the Triple Crown series to The One Fund Boston, which supports the victims and their families.
I’m thinking,
California Chrome (5) Wicked Strong (20) Intense Holiday (6) Hoppertunity (11)
Now to work on the order
