Because the New England Patriots have Tom Brady who is without a doubt the best quarterback of all time. When the chips are on the table, Tom has proven time and time again that it’s not over till it’s over.
Having just won this year’s MVP award in which he completed 385 of 581 passes (66.2 percent) for 4,577 yards and 32 touchdowns and eight interceptions, the Patriots went 13-3 for the AFC's best record. At an age when many QBs are went into retirement, Brady is still throwing both the deep ball and short passes as good as ever.
He also has a full group of hand that are ready to make the big plays at opportune times. Rob Gronkowski, Dion Lewis, Rex Burkhead, James White, Danny Amendola and Brandin Cooks are all threats, and Phillip Dorsett and Chris Hogan are who can get the job done and make big plays.
And then we have Belichick, he is a game master and will not leave opportunities to win out of his play book. He understands clock management and situational football. He will take advantage of any and every opening afforded him to maximize his team’s chances to win.
Yes, this should be another great Super Bowl game, I just hope all the food we have for today comes out as good as the game.
