The story remains unchanged. After 7 days, we still don’t know what happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 along with the 239 unfortunate souls that are on board. The aircraft disappeared on a routine flight between Kuala Lumpur and Beijing early last Saturday morning.
There have been a few facts that have been disclosed that add nothing but suspense to this modern day mystery.
Two passengers boarded the aircraft with stolen passports.
US investigators think that Malaysian Airlines flight 370 remained airborne for four more hours after it disappeared from radar.
Four more hours of flight time would allow the plane to fly an additional 2,200 nautical miles
Somebody turned the plane's transponders off to avoid detection from its last recorded position.
If the plane had crashed into the sea, surely some debris would have floated to the surface by now?
Is it a possibility that the plane and its passengers were diverted to an undisclosed location?
So far, U.S. national security officials have said that nothing, I believe someone somewhere knows something, but when will the rest of the world be told.
