           Off to the fields today, the long wait is finally over.

I did not need the alarm today
I've waited all night to see the sun's rays
The year has been long, memories many
Remembering days, Harvest of plenty
The time has come to again go afield
Enjoy the bounty that's ready to yield
The season is here, the wait is no more
