Rutgers University professors and students are up in arms this week over the decision to have the former National Security adviser and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice deliver the 2014 commencement address.
If you remember, Snooki, the former TV star of the show Jersey Shore did receive $32,000 from Rutgers in 2011 when she gave a campus talk and delivered those now famous and powerful words of wisdom, “When you’re tan, you feel better about yourself,” and “Study hard, but party harder.”
The University also paid Snooki $2,000 more than acclaimed writer, Pulitzer Prize and Nobel Prize winner, Toni Morrison . Ms. Morrison, later that year was the speaker that delivered the school's commencement address.
