It’s just another Manic Monday, the start of another work week. A lot of people had to get up and head off to work today in the snow. Right now the snow is falling pretty much everywhere and the weather today promises to be a healthy dose of crummy. The good news is, the weather last weekend was pretty nice and the Patriots won a real tough game on Saturday. The team will move on, to play again next weekend, in their quest to be the Super Bowl Champs. That makes any Monday much easier to deal with.

 My Monday will be a bit of a bore today. I am lucky enough to have the day off and do not have to drive in this weather.  I do however have to get my paperwork ready and head off to the doctor’s office for my annual DOT physical. It’s one off the details that I have to get done every two years in order to drive the truck. I think after my trip is done and I finish shoveling snow, I will pull out the vise and continue quest on learning how to tie a few flies for fishing.  

 That is a good thing–especially after one particular visit last year to a very small stream, where I believe I made contact with every tree branch that was in the immediate area that I was fishing in. I left a bunch of flies in those branches and the fly box could use a few new backups.
