It's going to be a Good Day

There are a lot of really bad companies who consistently offer nothing but bad experiences for their customers. But there is one firm that truly stands out — a company so horrendous the very mention of its name causes stress levels and anxiety for many, not to mention the sleepless nights.

I am talking about the King of being the worst. The company that does its best treat their customers likes a piece of crap. The company that offers a product that is in such high demand, but when it goes wrong treats the customer with a level of lip service that rivals a goldfish breathing for air.

Comcast is the largest cable and Internet provider in the country. Its reputation for horrendous customer service and inept tech support has now landed on my door again.. As a pretty mellow guy, and very tolerant of the shit happens, curve balls that can be thrown at you. It’s time to join the ranks of the many people who strongly believe that Comcast is one of the worst companies in the country.

The level of frustration I feel in dealing with Comcast is something that I have never experienced with any other company in my life. There have been many screw ups that have led to this day. I truly believe that screwing up is just one of the many services that Comcast provides as part of their service plans.

For me, its been a long list of screw-ups during the last two years that Comcast has provided. Cable TV outages that were caused by the company technicians- Numerous Internet disruptions that can be attributed to faulty equipment- Missed appointments on numerous times.

But now they have even found a way to screw up their goodwill gesture at appeasing me from all those previous bad experiences. The company offered me an upgrade on my TV and internet package. They gave me a reduction on the monthly bill and free phone service. I agreed because after all, cancelling service from a company that I have been doing business with for 30 plus years, (Verizon) to save over a hundred bucks a month at the time seemed like a good idea.

It’s now been 3 days since Verizon relinquished my phone number to Comcast so they could be the new provider of my land line phone service. I still don’t have a dial tone. Breath slowly…..help is on the way and for now, its time to enjoy the cookout.
