Living in New England, you learn a few things about the roads and driving this time of the year. Snowy conditions are a challenge, but most of us are pretty good at it. As long as you keep your speed reasonable, you can pretty much get anywhere you need to be with your 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicles. The road crews are also very good at keeping the roads open and fairly well maintained even during the toughest of conditions.
Today is the second snow storm that we have seen this week, and a third one is expected to come through by the weekend. I believe that we are right on track as far as the prediction for winter, from the Old Farmer’s Almanac. The good thing about February is that the month is a slacker. There are not as many days, so by theory, it should pass quickly. There is also a long Holiday weekend involved which shortens the month even further. It’s also the last month of before the arrival of early spring. Let the countdown begin for St Patrick’s Day weekend. (38 days) Let see how that one goes.
It’s time to get out there and make it happen, for round one.
