St. Patrick’s Day Parades will also be the Highlight for this weekend. From bagpipes to step dancers, marching bands and floats, regional celebrities, area politicians, military units and civic groups will step out to the beat as millions will line the streets to enjoy the fun.
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is very much part of the New England tradition. Typically it marks the first opportunity of the year for family and friends to get together and enjoy a day outdoors in the beginning of early spring. Parade Day is deeply embedded in our culture. “It’s just what you do for St. Patrick’s Day.”
