Enfield Ct Fourth of July Festival                                 Friday-Sunday                         Enfield Ct

The Fourth of July festivities continue this week with the town of Enfield  bringing up another big weekend full of events. They will kick off the weekend celebration with some good live music that will be sure to get the party rocking. Enfield traditionally throws a large celebration for the Fourth and the
schedule of activities for this year looks like a fun filled weekend.

Jacobs Pillow Dance Inside/Out Performances               Wednesday-Saturday      Stockbridge Ma

These are the free performances that happen every week from Wednesday through Saturday during the Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival. The shows are performed outside, with a beautiful backdrop of the Berkshire Hills in the summer. When the weather is threatening the performance will move to an indoor studio with very limited seating. Call the Box Office after 5pm the day of the performance to find out if it will be outdoors or indoors.



Free Fun Friday's                                                                                 Friday's in Massachusetts 

Each week on Friday,
The Highland Street Foundation will sponsor free admission to Museums and other cultural and fun destinations throughout Massachusetts. This program is open again this year to all Ma. residents thanks to this very generous family foundation.

The Festival on the Green                                                     9th thru the 15th            Middlebury Vt

The Festival on the Green has been acclaimed by Vermont Life as “the best series of free performances in Vermont” and as Vermont's “Favorite Festival.” The event has again earned the Addison Eagle’s “Readers’ Choice Award for Best Summer Festival.” It has also been distinguished this year and seven past times with selection as a Vermont Chamber of Commerce “Top Ten Summer Event.”

The classic summer series of concerts returns Thursday with four FREE shows this summer!  Enjoy the live music at Burlington's Battery Park while taking in breathtaking views of Lake Champlain and The Adirondacks! 



Waterfire                                                                                        Saturday                Providence RI 
This Saturday, there will be another Basin lighting for the Waterfire Festival.. As you walk along the paths in Waterfront Park, past the arched bridges and beautiful sculptures; your senses will be captivated by the flames, aromas of burning wood and music from around the world. There will be torch-lit vessels that travel down the river, street performers and live music.  WaterFire has been enjoyed by of over ten million visitors since its flames were first lit in 1994.

Sitting atop Massachusetts’ highest peak in the Berkshires sits Bascom Lodge There are a myriad of opportunities for fun for families throughout the summer and early fall. This Sunday you can enjoy the Jazz Festival. Open May 31st through October 30th, the lodge offers workshops, lectures, music and explorations of all kinds.


There are also many Cities and Towns that offer free weekly live music shows with a wide variety of different musical styles available. You can also find a lot of car shows in many areas here on the web site as well.  Those event's can be found on the Good Diggin Free Weekly
