As the tough economy continues, I will again, try to list some fun of the free events that are available to experience in New England. Each Wednesday, you can find them here with the posting of, “Fun Freebies”.  Here are a few of the events that will be held this week.   June 1 through 30, 2014  21st Annual Celebration of Lupines ..Throughout New Hampshire

Paying homage to the annual blossoming of this captivating wildflower, the Fields of Lupine Festival is a time honored regional event. The brilliant spikes of the lupine flower carpet local fields and pastures in a rolling sea of vibrant purples, pinks, blues and whites.  Complementing the natural beauty of the floral show, the Fields of Lupine Festival offers special events within the festival. Complementing the natural beauty of the floral show, the Fields of Lupine Festival offers special events within the festival.  In the communities of Franconia, Easton, Sugar Hill, Bethlehem, Bretton Woods, Littleton, Lisbon, Lincoln, North Woodstock and Whitefield NH.

Multiple Weekly Performances at ............Bascom Lodge...........atop Mount Greylock in Western Ma

Sitting atop Massachusetts’ highest peak in the Berkshires sits Bascom Lodge There are a myriad of opportunities for fun for families throughout the summer and early fall. Open May  31st through October 30th, The lodge offers workshops, lectures, music and explorations of all kinds.




First Fridays Putnam Ct..........The First Friday event will feature great live entertainment, a variety of art vendors lining the streets, fun and interactive art projects, and stimulating events. Putnam is a hub for arts & culture in Northeast Connecticut.


Greater Boston......The Berklee Sumer in the City concert series, sponsored by Natixis Global Asset Management, presents more than 200 free performances throughout the Greater Boston area from May through September. Bringing neighborhoods alive with free programs of pop, rock, jazz, Latin, and more, some of Berklee’s most promising young artists are poised to share the skills they hone on campus with the local community.
