Today’s story comes from Warren County, Kentucky. Law enforcement reported that 24-year-old Austin Orwig was inside the home asleep when the suspects kicked their way through the front door the home. The surveillance footage showing they were met by the armed resident and on Cue, the gunfight develops.  Several shots were fired before the suspects bolted from the scene. Deputies responded to the home after receiving a call about shots being fired. When they arrived, they found the homeowner had a gunshot wound to his right hand. He was transported to Jewish Hospital in Louisville for treatment. The wounded suspect was also taken to the hospital.
