The Fours is auctioning off more than 1,000 items of sports memorabilia
After 44 years serving as one of Boston’s most notable sports bars, The Fours accrued an impressive collection of sports memorabilia before it announced its closing in August.
“It has been our honor to call the City of Champions our home,” management said in a closing statement. “We have the best fans. Period. Thank you for making The Fours part of your traditions over the years.”
The Fours may be gone, but its memory — and its collectibles — certainly won’t be forgotten. Fans of the bar can now bring part of it home with them on December 3 and 4, when more than 1,000 items from its sports collection will be sold at a public online auction.
