Nudists in Paris have long clamored for larger spaces in which to congregate. Public nudity is banned, and punished with fines and jail time—unless it occurs in regulated areas. That's about to change with a public park's newly designated "nudist zone." Now, in the Bois de Vincennes, the city's largest park, officials have set aside a space near the bird reserve for nature lovers willing to shed their clothes and inhibitions. Those wanting to frolic unclothed in the pretty urban park must also schedule their visits before October 15, 2017. (But with Fall season right around the corner, you may also want to consider bringing an emergency sweater.)

Two Northern California marijuana farmers have been charged with offering a sheriff $1 million to turn a blind eye to their pot growing operations.
On Wednesday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Sacramento charged siblings Chi Meng Yang and Gaosheng Laitinen with attempting to bribe Siskiyou County Sheriff Jon Lopey to protect their farms from raids. The complaint, unsealed Thursday, also alleges the brother and sister intended to sell their crop in Missouri, where efforts are underway to legalize marijuana in that state. MORE
A dozen Cleveland Browns players created a firestorm during a recent preseason game by not standing during the anthem. They created the largest demonstration in the NFL during the National anthem ceremonies since former San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick started his protest more than a year ago.
