Looking for love, in all the wrong places
Last week, there was a full moon, and it was also the start of the annual rut for the whitetail deer. Whitetail Bucks start acting crazy as they are once again looking for love, This is the time of the year that they start chasing does, and they don't pay a lot of attention to their surroundings including any oncoming traffic.

Drivers should be on "high alert for deer crossing the roadways, particularly at dawn and dusk,"

November is typically the worst month of the year for vehicles hitting deer. It doesn't matter if you’re driving on the highway, or in the country, it means your chances of a collisions with a deer is much more likely. The rutting season will continue into early December.
