A whole lot of tragedy yesterday, a very very sad day
On Sunday night a madman opened fire with automatic weapons from the Mandalay Bay hotel, raining bullets down on a country music concert across the street. At least 59 people lost their lives and over 500 were wounded. It’s also a tragedy that doesn’t need to be made political, but I was amazed at news reports from the left. You know, the ones who play the blame game for political reasons and thrive on this type of morbid grandstanding grave dancing.
The worst one of them all had to be a top legal executive at CBS. Hayley Geftman-Gold, said she “is not even sympathetic” for the victims of the shooting at a country music festival at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Sunday night.
“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing,” wrote Geftman-Gold on Facebook, perhaps referring to Sandy Hook. “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”
Tom Petty, was found unconscious and not breathing Monday in his Malibu home. He was subsequently taken to the UCLA Santa Monica Hospital Sunday, where he "had no brain activity," according to TMZ. The gossip site reported that Petty was taken off life support on a do not resuscitate order from his family, and is currently "clinging to life."
