The LSU Women’s Basketball Team walked off the court just before the National Anthem was performed Monday nights in their game against Iowa. Unfortunately for LSU, they then got their ass whipped with the majority of the stadium rooting against them.

Maybe it was the fact that many people remember Angel Reese taunting Catlin Clark in her face and following her around taunting her during the end of last year's Elite Eight game. Fans will always remember bullies and that visual surely was still on a lot of people's minds.

With Monday night's game tied at the half, Caitlin Clark came out and put on another big show, dropping 41 PTS, 12 AST in the Elite Eight final.  (youtube.com)

The game was watched by 12.3 million viewers, according to ESPN, which makes it the most-viewed women's college basketball game on record and the most-watched college basketball game ever on ESPN platforms.

ESPN said the contest drew the second-highest audience for any basketball game on the network since 2012. The most-watched basketball game ever was Game 7 of the 2018 Eastern Conference finals between LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics, which drew 13.6 million viewers.

Friday’s game against UConn, who has Iowa's number in past matchups will be the must-see TV game to watch. Iowa is 0-2 against Genos UConn.
