Dick’s Sporting Goods enacted some new policies after the Parkland school shooting. They no longer sell certain types of assault style firearms. They also will no longer sell any firearms to anyone under the age of 21 years old. Something else they did was the hiring of several anti-gun lobbyists. Now, those moves have caused manufacturers within the gun and hunting industry to cut all ties from the retailer.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation, the firearms industry’s largest trade group, revoked Dick’s membership citing the hiring of three anti-gun lobbyists as the reason.
Then Springfield Armory cut ties with Dick’s. Springfield firearms and accessories will no longer be sold there.
Now Mossberg, formally O.F. Mossberg & Sons, has ended their relationship with Dick’s and Field & Stream retail stores.
