News of Those Bad Boys and Their Poor Victim Selection Skills,

A suspected robber is now in the hospital after police say he hopped into the wrong car.
Police say a man was sitting in his car in a shopping center in Lawrence, Indiana when another man got in, showed a gun and demanded money. The victim informed the robber that he had none, so the robber instructed him to drive to a Chase Bank branch within the shopping center. The robbery victim grabbed the gun and they started fighting in the vehicle over that gun,” Lawrence police Deputy Chief Gary Woodruff said.
During the struggle, police say the car crashed into a nearby fence. Both men then exited the car. “Unbeknownst to the robbery suspect, the victim had his own firearm and so they engaged in an exchange of gunfire,” From Fox 59:

Ukiah California Police Department's Lt. Cedric Crook has confirmed that a man who was shot Subway Restaurant was allegedly attempting to rob the sandwich shop before he was shot.
The robbery suspect is reported to have been holding customers in the Subway at gunpoint, but Crook stated that the gun "might not be a working gun," and was potentially a toy or replica, but one that appeared real. A customer at the restaurant shot the robbery suspect at least twice, and three bullet casings were found at the scene.  Via The Mendocino Voice.

And Finally

I guess it’s time to wade into the controversy over the classic Christmas song “Baby It’s Cold Outside”. The song was first popularized in the 1949 movie Neptune's Daughter and performed by Esther Williams & Ricardo Montalbán. Since then it has been done by countless entertainers through the years and was never thought of anything other than a classic.
The last few years, radio stations across the nation have been terrorized by hate mobs wanting to ban the song from their playlists. The social justice extremists claim it promotes date rape. I find it strange that they have to go back 69 years to find a song that they now deem offensive. They must not have heard any rap or hip hop music that's been on the radio for the last 20 years.
While radio stations across the country are pulling the song from their playlists, here at Ramblings and Smiles....we don't succumb to the pressure of a mob. With that said, you can find a new version of that old winter classic here that should put a smile on a few of your faces.
