Panel Approves Impeachment Articles and Sends Charges for a House Vote
A fiercely divided House Judiciary Committee pushed President Trump to the brink of impeachment on Friday, voting along party lines to approve charges that he abused the power of his office and obstructed Congress.
After a fractious two-day debate steeped in the Constitution and shaped by the realities of a hyper partisan era in American politics, the Democratic-controlled committee recommended that the House ratify two articles of impeachment against the 45th president. In back-to-back morning votes, they adopted each charge against Mr. Trump by a margin of 23 to 17 over howls of Republican protest.

Boris Johnson and the Conservative Party will form the next government of the United Kingdom after a commanding majority victory in the Thursday election. Johnson’s Conservatives will now carry the majority. The scale of Johnson's success also marked a stinging defeat for the Labour Party.

This weeks recipe for Sundays Game Day
Any self-respecting New Englander knows that American chop suey has absolutely nothing to do with Chinese food. American Chop Suey is the name of a beloved comfort food that brings for many, memories of school cafeteria lunches from their childhood!

Known in other parts of the country as beef and macaroni or even goulash, this recipe is an old favorite and a five-star comfort food. In New England, this classic has endless variations on how it’s cooked and is only limited by the cook's imagination. Some recipes have it cooked on the stove top or even in a Dutch oven.
Most people use green peppers. I prefer red.  Some people swear by mozzarella cheese, but I like cheddar cheese. Your choice! There are countless variations to this Classic Comfort Food.

But for me, my favorite version of this comfort food classic is good, simple and cheesy, it’s the baked version. It’s perfect to make ahead of time for game day and then you just need to heat it up.  A good recipe to start with can be found here.
