Irish groups are protesting nationwide today over the stigma that is being cast on them that they just want to go out on St. Patrick's Day and have a little party celebrating their ethnic heritage. Many Irish Americans have said they find it offensive that the public perception is that they are out there and enjoying the celebration and laughing at the debauchery.
Oh well, that may be a just a little bit of a stretch, but in reality, I know a few people who will.
