It’s been an incredibly cold stretch of weather so far this winter. Below zero most every evening and rising up into the single digits, or barely the teens during the day. Since that cold snowy Christmas morning two weeks ago, we have been in the grips of a deep freeze.  So cold in fact that part of the N.E. region, is colder than the surface of Mars. On beaches in Massachusetts, Sharks are washing up ashore after freezing to death. Yes, that’s bitter cold. The Mount Washington Observatory in New Hampshire had record-breaking cold temperatures as it hit -34 degrees, beating the previous record low of -31 degrees that was set in 1933.
 
The good news is,the warmer days are here again. The temperatures will start to get a little warmer every day and for the first time in weeks, it will get above the freezing mark. Next weekend, some parts of the area could see temperatures get as high as the 50’s. It can’t come fast enough for me.
