“Guess what Bill, I’m watching Brady tomorrow play in another Super Bowl!”
Tom Brady has led the Patriots to 13 AFC Championship Games and nine Super Bowl appearances.
From a fans point of view, I certainly didn’t fault him for the move last year, though coming to grips with it still hurt. But considering the Patriots lacked quality offensive play makers last season and the reported salary offer to Tom was an insult, I understood.
Tomorrow, a lot of us will cheer Brady on, kind even though there are also plenty of other Patriot fans who will have a hard time with it.
But let’s be honest and not bitter, Brady was instrumental in the Patriots hoisting the Lombardi Trophy for winning the Super Bowl a record six-times while playing for New England the last 20 years. For me, those years were the greatest pleasure a fan could have ever asked for.
