There were no tricks, but what a treat
The win tonight, was so bitter sweet

The Sox played hard, all year long
Thats what made them Boston Strong

They’ve carried us through, when things were tough
Showing us light, like diamonds in the rough

Now we bear witness, on this special fall night
They won it at home, and oh what a site

As fireworks shoot, to the sky so bright
