Ray LaMontagne is ready to start touring this month to promote his new album which was released earlier this week. The fifth studio record is titled, “Supernova” . It is a old school throwback that has strong vibes of music from the psychedelic and folk-rock era of the 1960s.
From his first powerful single in 2004 “Trouble”, to the Grammy winning “Beg steal or Borrow” that was released in 2008 , “Supernova”, is the first single off the new album, and another strong and hypnotizing ballad that will, not let his fans down. It is a classic, rustic folksiness combined with a smooth soul sound that will leave you mesmerized. I have to say, I really like it.
Ray was born in Nashua New Hampshire and is now living up the road from here in the Berkshires.
