"Just when we think we figured things out, the universe throws us a curveball. So, we have to improvise. We find happiness in unexpected places. We find ourselves back to the things that matter the most. The universe is funny that way. Sometimes it just has a way of making sure we wind up exactly where we belong."

NBC's Fake News King Brian Williams Launches Crusade Against "Fake News"

The Pacific Coast of the United States and Canada has been contaminated with radioactive particles from Fukushima.
And finally, it is being officially acknowledged. Woods Hole chemical oceanographer Ken Buesseler has tracked the radiation plume as it slowly makes its way across the Pacific Ocean.
It’s a stark reminder that the effects from Fukushima radiation continually spilling into the ocean have not been abated. The site continues to leak highly toxic radioactive material to this day.

AN SAS sniper has picked off his 100th Islamic State militant during fighting for the Iraqi city of Mosul.

The impressive tally makes him one of the most successful snipers in the British armed forces.
His latest kill is said to be a “high valued target” in the terror group, which has put up fierce resistance as the US-backed coalition attempts to recapture Iraq’s second city from the extremists.
The unnamed sniper is a veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and dozens of his past targets were ISIS fighters.

It was Never a Threat
A small-town P.E.I. police department has issued a public apology to Nickelback, and taken down a social media post that threatened to force drunk drivers to listen to the Alberta band's music.

Sometimes You Just Need to Sit Down and Think
There are times in life when someone will pass right through the realms of inebriation and enter a completely different world. A guy in Poland did just that after taking part in a heavy boozing session with too many vodkas. The result, He passes out and is later pronounced dead.

He is then taken to the mortuary, where he was placed in a refrigerator. Later the same day a guard at the hospital heard strange noises coming from the morgue. He stated that he thought there might be a burglary going on. Upon investigation, he found that the sounds were coming from the refrigerators. With shaking hands, he opened one of the doors, and there he found a naked corpse, who asked me for a blanket, says the guard.

The guard called the police and a doctor who quickly came to the morgue and surprisingly found that the 25-year-old had risen from the dead. He got his clothes back, and politely asked if he could go home. And after a medical checkup, he packed his things and took off.On the way home; however, he went back to the pub. After all, it's not every day one survives death, and it's certainly time for a celebration. There was no further information available on whether the security guard needed a change of
clothes after the encounter.

How FDR responded to the "day of infamy"

Students have made “The Dirt Bag” Martin Shkreli's $750 drug in their chem lab for just $2
A group of high school students in Australia has now created 3.7 grams of Daraprim's active ingredient in their chemistry lab for just $20 - an amount that would sell in the US for between $35,000 and $110,000 at the current rate charged by Shkreli's company.
Last year, hedge-fund manager Martin Shkreli made headlines
for all the wrong reasons when he bought anti-parasitic drug Daraprim and jacked up the price overnight from $US13.50 to $750 a tablet.

This Gal is Just Bad to the Bone
This was after she threw her dog into traffic when she was about to be arrested for the shoplifting three Yuengling beers. When she was arrested and placed in the back of the Patrol car, the woman started to kick the back seat window and bang on the plexiglass partition with her hands.
The officer repeatedly told her to stop, but she refused to do so. Police said the officer warned the suspect that she would be pepper-sprayed if she did not stop kicking the window, but when she continued, he sprayed her through the lowered rear window. As retaliation, the woman urinated and defecated in the back of the patrol car.
