You know when you had that type of day, regardless of your age, the adventure or the destination, when it's all over, and you think back and say……. that was an experience

As the summer's days have now come to an end, another change of the seasons is about to begin. Many fall harvest and apple festivals are starting to get underway all-over New England. Make some time to explore the best of what our region has to offer this fall. It’s time to get out there, enjoy a scenic drive to an apple orchard, below is a listing of orchards in New England by state.

The season for leaf peeping is almost here.
With the temperatures dropping into the 30s and 40s at night, things will begin to change really quick. The season for leaf peeping will come and go in a flash. Visitors will also be flocking into New England now like a giant annual migration, they are all hoping to catch a glimpse of the breathtaking, but fleeting phenomenon that we are lucky enough to live with.

Autumn has officially begun in New England, and the fall foliage season is just around the corner. As of this week, there is patchy and partial fall foliage across much of the Northeast. From my many years of traveling in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, it's safe to say next week will be the start of peak foliage in the North Country.

To keep you updated on the foliage and where to go on any spur of the moment road trip that may be in your future, we have a link posted below that is also very good to predicting foliage times and areas, it admits that it cannot promise 100% accuracy. But it does a very good job allowing users to plan ahead, a week at a time, and try to get a sense of what the foliage will look like in different areas at selected times.

You can keep up on your travels into the Back Roads or High Hills for your road trip by getting updated foliage reports from the web sites of different states below.
