McCarthyism: The Democrats’ treatment of Brett Kavanaugh
Let’s consider what just happened this week. A qualified candidate for the Supreme Court was subjected to a humiliating public spectacle in the form of a show trial. Totally unsubstantiated allegations of sexual abuse were pushed out by the media in headlines and by the Democrats in the supposedly hallowed chambers of the Senate floor. (The Swamp)  This has become the modern day McCarthy show trials of the 1950s. The process for evaluating Republican Supreme Court nominees has become a search-and-destroy mission by those opposed to Trump. There is, and by the look of what happened this week, never be an honest evaluation of the candidate.  But what we did see was the perversion of politics and how to undermine a qualified candidate in the process.

Here are some key facts about Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations:
She doesn’t know what year it took place
She doesn’t know what month it took place
She has no idea where it took place
She doesn’t know how many boys were there
She doesn’t think any females were there
But she’s not sure, maybe there was a female there?

The Lies Continue
It turns out the American Bar Association story on Brett Kavanaugh

The Real Reason Why Democrats Want An FBI Investigation Into Brett Kavanaugh

The Kavanaugh hearing was a train wreck

Even From CNN
Jake Tapper, speaking with Wolf Blitzer stated that despite all the furious allegations hurled at Judge Brett Kavanaugh, there are “no contemporaneous corroborating evidence for any of the charges” against Kavanaugh.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham gave the performance of his career, slamming the Democratic maneuvers as an effort to destroy a brilliant judge.

Honest Andy Only Speaks The Truth
Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo blamed the upstate weather for prompting New Yorkers to flee to other states. Cuomo told reporters Tuesday that while job losses and high taxes once drove people to leave New York, his administration has ended that trend and improved the local economic situation.
He said many of the New Yorkers leaving the state now are doing so for personal reasons or decisions that he called
"climate based."

Expanding Crackdown on Government Assistance
The Homeland Security Department has announced that immigrants who legally use public benefits like food assistance and Section 8 housing vouchers could be denied green cards under new rules aimed at keeping out people the administration deems a drain on the country.
The Department has announced they will now enforce a long-standing, but also long-ignored, requirement that immigrants not become a burden on American taxpayers.
Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, who signed the proposal, said it would push immigrants’ to be self-sufficient or to rely on their family or the business that’s sponsoring them to be in the U.S. for help, rather than to take assistance from the government. MORE

Violence, Neglect and False Advertising: The Fall of a Massachusetts Special Education School
When current and former staffers at Tri-County Schools for troubled youth gathered for a reunion this May at the Brass Cat bar in Easthampton, they did not know what was coming.
By the end of that month, the head of the nonprofit that operated Tri-County for 30 years would announce the school's abrupt closure for the next school year. Two months after that, the reasons for that closure would become clear: the release of a damning investigation which found repeated abuse of the often traumatized children the school was designed to serve.  MORE

The Redemption of Sinead O'Connor
Twenty six years ago in 1992, just before a commercial break, Sinead O'Connor grabbed a photo of the pope, held it up to the camera, tore it in half, and declared that “Good will triumph over evil” and noted that we should “Fight the real enemy.”
Pedophilia as we now know has long been rampant in the Catholic Church. However, until recently these monsters in priests’ clothing have acted under the cover of the church—their misdeeds swept away, the children ignored, and their abuse allowed to continue. Back in the day when Sinead tore up the Popes picture I thought she was crazy and that she ruined her career over nothing. .As more of the corruption and abuses of the past now  comes to light, it turns out she was right after all, but no one was listening. Man nearly loses penis after kicking dog in Spain
It happened in the early hours of 12 September. The cries of pain of a Senegalese citizen were heard throughout the neighborhood of Santa Teresa Street in the town of Reus, shortly after midnight.
Local police arrived and found the man writhing in pain gesturing to his crotch. A local resident explained to the police how the African became wounded shortly before they arrived.
The witness said that the man kicked the dog of a local resident and the dog then retaliated. The dog clamped his teeth on the attacker’s penis and then his hand as the man tried to push the animal away.
An ambulance arrived shortly after the police to Santa Teresa Street, where the wounded man was treated. Medical professionals could see that the victim had serious injuries to his penis.
The tearing of part of the skin and wounds in the glans and foreskin were caused by the animal’s teeth, which pierced through the man’s trousers and fully reached the reproductive organ.
The injured man was brought to Sant Joan de Reus hospital but once there, doctors recommended a transfer. He was then referred to the Joan XXIII hospital in Tarragona, as his injuries required reconstructive surgery and urology. He is recovering in a medical centre in Tarragona. This is the translated piece....... you can find the original article here

President Trump has instructed staff to move forward with the next round of tariffs on Chinese goods
The tariffs are expected to apply to about $200bn worth of imports from China, including electronic parts and consumer goods such as handbags which could be as high as 25%.

President Trump ordered his staff to start preparing the tariffs this summer, escalating a dispute over what the US says are China's unfair trade practices, such as state subsidies.

The new duties would add to tariffs the US has already imposed on $50bn in Chinese goods as part of that dispute, as well as tariffs that China levied on $50bn in US goods in retaliation.

Bacon Lovers, Rejoice!
If you’re like me and love it, you know that Bacon goes with everything.  There is a new contest from one of the world's largest pork processors that just might be a dream come true. Smithfield Foods, which is based in Virginia but distributes its products globally, is giving consumers a chance to win enough bacon for a lifetime as part of a sweepstakes running through the end of the year.

The contest will grant one winner enough bacon for 50 years in the form of one package of bacon per week (assuming the winner doesn't keel over from too much bacon before then!) awarded as coupons and cash gift cards valued at $20,777. That's a lot of bacon!
For those who don't win the ultimate prize, Smithfield is also awarding more than 1,000 additional prizes, including five "bacon bicycles" (bacon-themed, single-speed cruiser bikes), 10 Smithfield cornhole boards, 500 sets of four Smithfield pint glasses and 500 sets of four Smithfield slap koozies (yes, there is such a thing as a koozie that snaps onto a can just like those signature bracelets slap onto wrists).

If the contest sounds too good to be true, your right, there’s no way that your doctor be happy with you. For one, bacon is one of the main foods that many cardiologists avoid eating because of its high fat and salt content. But if you decide to go forward, you will have to buy a package just to enter ... which I guess isn't so bad. It’s like playing the lottery.

To enter, anyone can mail one entry on an index card to Smithfield's headquarters (the address is included in the official rules) or you can purchased a specially marked package and enter a unique code found inside (which I know isn't that bad) . Each person is limited to 100 entries. If you do hit that mark, you may just want to keep quiet about it next time you have to visit with your doctor. Also get ready to write a cook book on all the great recipes that you will come up with.

Good Guys with a Gun…

Concealed-Carry Gunowner praised for joining cops in shootout with suspect After Police Officer Is Shot 4 Times

A man with a concealed-carry license was commended for coming to the aid of Cicero Illinois police who were engaged in a shootout with a man who shot and wounded an officer near the Stevenson Expressway Thursday, authorities said.
Cicero Police Officer Luis Duarte, 31, was shot four times during the encounter near the 4200 block of South Cicero Avenue during the evening rush hour, but it might have been worse if the armed citizen hadn’t stepped in, officials said.

From Florida
A man with a concealed-weapons permit shot one of three men who tried to rob him at a gas station just outside West Palm Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
He had just paid for his gas and was walking back to his car when three men approached and demanded money. Rather than hand it over, he drew his gun and shot at them, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The wounded would-be robber is in custody and is expected to survive.
The attempted robbery happened just before 7 a.m. Saturday at the Shell station at 2970 N. Military Trail, said sheriff’s spokeswoman Teri Barbera.
“The victim, in fear of this life, discharged his firearm, which he has a concealed weapons permit for, striking one of the suspects,” she said, in a statement.
The gas station clerk, who would only identify himself as Mr. Nasser, said the intended victim appeared unhurt.
“The guy came in and paid for the gas and they tried to rob him and he fired at them,” Nasser said. “He was not killed, but somebody was injured.”

More Trump Derangement Syndrome
Like an untreated STD --TDS keeps eating away at the brain until so little of it still works that the dumbest things seem to make perfect sense.
Take for example the longtime College of Southern Nevada sociology professor who is now facing felony gun charges in connection with an on-campus shooting on the second day of classes.
Mark J. Bird was charged last month with discharging a gun within a prohibited structure, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and possessing a dangerous weapon on school property, court records show. He was found bleeding from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his arm about 8:15 a.m. on Aug. 28 outside a bathroom in the Charleston campus K building.
Inside the bathroom, campus police found a $100 bill taped to a mirror along with a note that said, “For the janitor,” according to Bird’s arrest report. On the floor of the restroom was a black-and-white, .22-caliber pistol and one spent shell casing.
