The trees are about to show us again how nice it is when things are let go.

The Biggest snowstorm in years is hitting much of the country and is forecast to bomb the Northeast starting Sunday. This one has the potential to easily drop well over a foot of snow on many parts of New England starting Sunday morning and continuing through the day into Monday. Combine this with the coldest temperatures of the year, minus 20 plus with the wind the chill. Those cold temperatures will be starting tonight and continue on into tomorrow; as we all await the "Big One."

With these big weather-related disruptions, expect your routine to be significantly changed by this Sunday. The good news is, the NFL conference championship football games are going to be safe from the major weather disruptions. Neither Denver, the site of the AFC title game between the Broncos and Patriots, nor Seattle, the site for the NFC championship between the Rams and Seahawks, is in the pathway of this massive Winter Storm. For most of us, that’s the only good news. A day to just settle in, wait it out and hope there isn’t any power outages from this storm that will shut down the ability of watching the games and making the best out of it.

Here are some of the snowfall predictions for the Northeast and metro areas, according to local meteorologists.

New York City: 8-12 inches
Hartford, Connecticut: 10-18 inches
Boston: 10-16 inches
Cape Cod: 7-10 inches
From Springfield Ma, Southern VT, most of NH and Maine: 16-22 inches

Last Week's CNN Round table Panel Discussion on President Trump Might Just Land the Network again on “The List”

Back in 2023, a federal judge dismissed a $475 million defamation lawsuit President Trump brought against CNN over the network’s use of the term “the big lie” to describe his claims that he won the 2020 election and allegedly comparing him to Adolf Hitler.

At that time U.S. District Judge Raag Singhal, found that CNN’s use of “big lie” and the comparisons to Hitler were opinions, not facts.

This week on the CNN round table show, a "25-year-old leftist activist, Cameron Kasky who is part of the panel claimed President Trump was part of a “human sex-trafficking network.” Perhaps CNN should be a bit more selective of who they put on air or come to the reality that they are back on that ever-growing list of media companies he’s seeking damages from in court.

Last year, both ABC and CBS News settled lawsuits with President Trump for millions of dollars in damages after in the case of ABC, their on-air personality George Stephanopolous made false claims against him.

In the case against CBS, Trump won the lawsuit against the network for deceptively editing an interview with then-presidential candidate Harris to “tip the scales in favor of the Democratic Party” during the 2024 election.

He has since then added lawsuits against The Wall Street Journal and media mogul Rupert Murdoch for 10 billion, The New York Times for $15 billion and The BBC for $10 billion
