The mainstream media skewered Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann over the awkward confrontation with Native American activist Nathan Phillips in front of the Lincoln Memorial.
Everyone immediately rushed to judgment based on one clip. Sandmann was ripped apart by media outlets and pundits. Even after the truth came out, some outlets were hesitant to set the record straight.
So far, Sandmann Layers has sued the Washington Post for $250 million and CNN for $275 million. His lawyers warned that it was just the beginning, and boy they weren’t lying.
This week, they also started a new lawsuit against NBC Universal (NBC and MSNBC) for $275 million. They say NBC Universal “created a false narrative by portraying the ‘confrontation’ as a ‘hate crime’ committed by Nicholas.”
