Autumn has officially begun in New England, and the fall foliage season is just around the corner. As of this week, there is patchy and partial fall foliage across much of the Northeast.

​From my many years of traveling in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, it's safe to say next week will be the start of peak foliage in the North Country. To keep you updated on the foliage and where to go on any spur of the moment road trip that may be in your future, we have a link posted below that is also very good to predicting foliage times and areas, it admits that it cannot promise 100% accuracy. But it does a very good job allowing users to plan ahead, a week at a time, and try to get a sense of what the foliage will look like in different areas at selected times.
