Mark your calendars with this year's Free Fishing Days in New England.
Free fishing days are there to encourage those who do not fish to get out there and give it a try. The following dates and links are for the New England states and information for their respective free fishing day or days.

​Please note, on these days, you will not need to buy a license, however you may need to posses one that will be issued by the state. Check each states web site for all restrictions and/or other regulations.

Free Fishing Day’s in Connecticut are June 18 and August 12th (you still must posses the free one day license)

Free Fishing Weekend in Maine is Saturday & Sunday June 3rd-4th

Free Fishing Weekend in  Massachusetts is Saturday & Sunday June 3rd-4th

Free Fishing Day in New Hampshire is June 3rd

Free Fishing Day in Vermont is June 10th

Rhode Island Free Fishing Days unfortunately have passed, They were in early May.
