From my many years of traveling in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, it's safe to say next week will be the start of peak foliage in the North Country. To keep you updated on the foliage and where to go on any spur of the moment road trip that may be in your future, we have a link posted below that is also very good to predicting foliage times and areas, it admits that it cannot promise 100% accuracy. The ABC moderators for the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris couldn’t have been more biased. Besides not once did they ever fact-check Harris’ long list of lies. David Muir stated to Trump, “As you know, the FBI says overall violent crime is coming down in this country”. The reality is, according to the latest data released last week from the Department of Justice’s National Crime Victimization Survey, there has been a sharp increase in violent crime under the Biden-Harris administration as compared to when Trump left office. Violent crime had fallen by 17 percent under Trump, under the Biden-Harris administration, it rose by 43 percent.

The truth is, Boars Head made just an average liverwurst. I've always been a big fan of Braunschweiger, which is a type of liverwurst. I'm also very lucky because one of my favorite deli’s, which is an easy ride for me, is located in Chicopee Ma.

Bernats Polish deli sells what I consider to be the best Brauschweiger -Pasztetowa Wędzona or in understandable English, liverwurst. It’s manufactured by the legendary Andy's Deli & Mikolajczyk Sausage Shop. They are located in Chicago and produce some of the best Kielbasa and sausage products you could ever ask for.

Their Brauschweiger Liverwurst is seasoned perfectly, and one of the few that I enjoy plain, no onion or mustard. Served on a slice of lightly toasted, bakery fresh lightly rye bread with no traditional toppings, it doesn't get any better than that.

Politicians and the left-wing media continue to foster their non-stop rhetoric in the gun control debate of targeting legal gun ownership rather than the criminals that are using them.

It isn't difficult to see that the overwhelming majority of "gun control" laws have nothing whatsoever to do with making people safer. Especially after what we now see with a revolving door of criminals being released back to the streets.

What you hear a lot from the police nowadays is that the perpetrator was no stranger to Law Enforcement. What you don’t hear from those Politicians advocating gun control, is how often guns, in the right hands have saved lives.

Those gun control advocates have long controlled the narrative about defensive uses of firearms, calling the “good guy with a gun” scenario a “myth meant to scare people.

What should concern everyone is the police are not going to be there to protect you from a crime in process. They are for the most part, understaffed in most communities throughout the country and will respond only after a call for help has been made. A good guy with a gun is not just a myth as they would have you believe, it's a right.

So once again, we have a few stories from last month on how those criminals fared after they encountered law-abiding citizens who were legally armed and chose not to become " just another victim".

As always, a word of caution…..If you just want the news in your life sugarcoated, leave now and go out and enjoy a sugar doughnut.
